Yotam Bilid, a former soldier in the Israeli military, announced his alignment with the Palestinian cause, Shehab Wire reported. He criticized Israeli narratives and occupation policies, asserting that standing with justice does not constitute betrayal despite facing criticism for his position.
Bilid described Gaza as "a stain of shame that history will not erase," challenging the official Israeli account of events in the territory.
