Meta has closed the Instagram account of Palestinian journalist Anas al-Sharif, who was killed while reporting from Gaza, Shehab Wire reported. The account contained an archive of photographs and video footage documenting his field journalism and coverage of Israeli military operations in the territory.
The closure removed access to al-Sharif's documented reporting from Gaza, including material related to his coverage of alleged crimes by occupation forces.
