Former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Wednesday implicitly accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of deliberately undermining a 2024 prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas in Gaza by leaking deal details to the media, Shehab Wire reported.
Gallant's accusation came as negotiations over the exchange faced collapse following the disclosure of confidential talks to journalists. The former defense chief did not name Netanyahu directly but made clear his suspicion that the Israeli leader had intentionally sabotaged the agreement.
