Hamas political bureau member Haroun Nasreddine, who heads the movement's Jerusalem affairs office, called for widespread public participation in Friday demonstrations backing Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Shehab Wire reported. The events are part of a campaign titled "Al-Fajr" (The Dawn), according to the statement.
Nasreddine urged the broadest possible turnout at the planned activities scheduled for Friday in support of the holy sites.
