Jaser al-Barghouti, a Hamas commander, told Shehab Wire that killing resistance leaders will not break Palestinian popular will or end the armed struggle, nor will it provide Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu an exit from his political crises.
Al-Barghouti's remarks come as Israel has intensified targeted operations against Palestinian militant commanders over the past months. The Hamas official stressed that the movement's resistance would persist regardless of losses among its leadership ranks.
