Ayman Bani Owda, a Palestinian human rights defender and social worker from Tammoun in the Tubas Governorate of the occupied West Bank, is detained in an Israeli jail outside Palestinian territory without charges or trial, Amnesty International reported. Owda, also known as Ayman Ghrayeb, works in human rights advocacy and social services in his community.
Amnesty International called for his immediate release, characterizing his detention as arbitrary under international law.
