After targeting Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon with exploding pagers and walkie-talkies, questions have emerged over whether Israel might execute a similar operation against targets in Iran, according to Ma'an Wire. The Lebanese militant group suffered significant casualties in the coordinated device attacks this month. Iran has not publicly confirmed any vulnerability to comparable tactics, though regional tensions remain high following the strikes.
Israel has not announced plans for such an operation in Iran. Security analysts differ on the feasibility and strategic logic of extending the campaign across borders into Iranian territory.
