Israeli occupation authorities have remanded journalist and political activist Rasem Obeidat to administrative detention for six months, the Shehab Wire reported. An occupation court in Jerusalem issued the order following his arrest two days earlier when large forces of Israeli police and security services raided his home in Jabal al-Mukaber.
Administrative detention allows authorities to hold detainees without charge or trial for renewable periods.
