An Israeli drone strike hit the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, wounding several Palestinians, the Wafa news agency reported. The strike targeted the densely populated coastal zone, which has served as a displacement area for Palestinians fleeing fighting elsewhere in the strip.

No further details on the number of wounded or the extent of their injuries were immediately available.
