Palestinian olive growers have suffered losses exceeding $157 million since 2023 through September 2026, Shehab Wire reported. Approximately 286,000 olive trees in the West Bank and Gaza Strip were damaged during the period, the agency said, attributing the destruction to Israeli occupation measures and attacks.
The olive sector represents a vital source of income for Palestinian farmers and a significant component of the Palestinian economy.
