Israeli settlers have driven a Palestinian community from its home near Ein al-Auja, a natural spring and waterfall north of Jericho in the occupied West Bank, through a combination of violent attacks and water diversion, Middle East Eye reported. Haitham Rashaidh was among the last residents to abandon the area, packing up his family's tents as the community faced mounting pressure.
The displacement reflects a broader pattern in the West Bank where Palestinians have lost access to natural water sources and faced escalating violence from settlers intent on taking control of land and resources in the territory.
