Israeli settlers raided the village of Awarta, south of Nablus, and the area surrounding al-Uzair shrine for more than 12 hours, Wafa news reported. The Ottoman-era historic site was among the targets of the incursion by settlers into the West Bank community.
The raids marked the latest in a pattern of settler operations in Palestinian areas of the West Bank, where such incidents have intensified in recent months.
