A source close to the UAE government accused the Israeli government of exploiting the flydubai incident for political purposes, according to Middle East Eye. The source alleged that Israeli officials have delayed restoration of flydubai operations while connecting the episode to Iran.
The allegation suggests the incident, which involved a flydubai aircraft, has become entangled in broader geopolitical tensions between Israel and Iran rather than being resolved on its own merits.
