Netanyahu's former aide has alleged an attempt to alter records related to the 7 October 2023 Hamas attack, Middle East Eye reported. The allegation has surfaced amid renewed scrutiny of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's handling of the attack and subsequent negotiations over captives held in Gaza.
The claim adds to mounting criticism facing Netanyahu over his government's response to the assault and the ongoing captive situation.
