Shehab Wire (EN) reported that the International Committee for Support of Palestinian People's Rights, known as Hshad, criticized the postponement of Palestinian legislative elections originally scheduled for November 28, 2026, to September 11, 2027. The group argued that delaying the vote does not address the crisis of Palestinian legitimacy.
The postponement was announced as authorities pushed back the legislative ballot while rescheduling presidential elections for the later date.
