Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government paid for 500 pro-Israel and anti-Iran billboards and dozens of message-carrying trucks across Manhattan, according to Middle East Eye. The advertising campaign preceded Netanyahu's address to the United Nations General Assembly.
The billboards and mobile advertisements were part of what his office characterized as a public diplomacy effort during his visit to New York for the annual UN gathering.
