The Palestine Prisoners' Studies Center said Israeli authorities have intensified solitary confinement of detainees in recent weeks under flimsy pretexts, according to Shehab Wire. Dozens of prisoners, including women, are being held in harsh conditions in isolation cells.
The center attributed the escalation to what it called a deliberate policy aimed at compounding prisoners' suffering, tightening detention conditions, and breaking their will.
