The director general of the 302 Authority for the Defence of Palestinian Refugee Rights, Ali Howeidi, said ongoing plans to end the work of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) represent a practical entrenchment of political decisions, Shehab Wire reported.
Howeidi characterized the moves to shut down UNRWA as consolidating what he described as efforts to liquidate the Palestinian refugee question. The 302 Authority focuses on defending the rights of Palestinian refugees.
