A Palestinian was killed and another wounded in a settler attack on residents of Yassouf village, east of Salfit in the West Bank yesterday afternoon, the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights reported. Israeli Occupation Forces provided protection during the assault, according to the organization.
The incident occurred amid a sharp escalation in settler violence targeting Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest season.
