Settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and performed Talmudic rituals, the Ma'an news agency reported. The incursion marks a renewed breach of the sacred site, which has faced repeated access violations by Israeli settlers and soldiers.
Al-Aqsa, located in occupied East Jerusalem, remains a flashpoint between Palestinians and Israeli forces, with entry by non-Muslims constituting a contentious and internationally criticized practice.
