A UK restaurateur claims financial losses following backlash to a video he posted weeks earlier that appeared to call for Israel to destroy buildings in Gaza, Al Jazeera English reported. The incident triggered public controversy surrounding his remarks about the conflict.
Details of the specific losses and the restaurateur's identity were not immediately clear. The posting drew criticism for its apparent endorsement of destruction in Gaza during the ongoing Israeli military operations in the territory.
