The International Organization for Migration warned that approximately two million people in Gaza require shelter to withstand incoming winter rains, Shehab Wire reported. Heavy rainfall is expected to bring flooding as winter approaches, the UN agency said, amid widespread destruction across the territory.
The IOM cautioned that nearly all Gaza residents need tents or shelter assistance as the season changes. Winter conditions threaten populations already displaced and living in inadequate accommodation.
