DAWN urges US, UK, allies to sanction Israeli commanders over Gaza starvation

Democracy for the Arab World Now filed formal sanctions referrals with the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, and Australia on Tuesday, calling for penalties against former and current commanders of the Israeli army unit overseeing what the group characterizes as a starvation campaign against Palestinians in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
The advocacy organization submitted the referrals to five governments' authorities, according to DAWN, naming military officials responsible for administering Israel's policies affecting food supplies in the enclave.
