Israel's defense minister threatens to target Hamas leaders abroad

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz threatened Tuesday to pursue Hamas leaders living outside Gaza, Middle East Eye reported. "Hamas leaders abroad are also in the crosshairs," Katz said, signaling an expansion of Israel's operations beyond the territory.
The threat comes as Israel continues military operations in Gaza against the Palestinian militant group, which has maintained a leadership structure with senior figures based outside the enclave.
