Israel will increase security screening of pilots entering the country, the prime minister's office announced, following a security scare involving a flydubai co-pilot on a flight to Tel Aviv, Al-Monitor reported. The heightened measures come as authorities assess risks posed by flight crew accessing sensitive areas of Israeli airports and aircraft.
Details of the flydubai incident remain limited in available reports, though the incident prompted the government to review and strengthen vetting procedures for international airline personnel.
