Three Palestinians, including two children and a woman, died in a series of Israeli airstrikes that struck the Katiba area west of Gaza City on Tuesday, Shehab Wire reported. The strikes also left eight others wounded. One of the dead was identified as a child named Abdullah Ahmad, according to the agency's correspondent at the scene.
The operation marked the latest in a pattern of Israeli military action across Gaza's populated areas. The deaths brought the toll of civilian casualties in the territory's western districts to at least three confirmed fatalities from Tuesday's bombardment alone.
