Israeli occupation forces prevented residents of Bita village south of Nablus from picking olives in the Jabal al-Arma area on Friday, threatening them with weapons and firing sound bombs, Shehab Wire reported. Local sources said occupation soldiers assaulted residents who attempted to harvest in the area.
The incident occurred as Palestinians prepare for the annual olive season, a critical economic activity in the occupied West Bank.
