Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque despite restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation forces on those entering Jerusalem, Shehab Wire reported. The Islamic Endowment Department in Jerusalem confirmed the large turnout at the mosque's courtyards.
Israeli forces have intensified security measures at entry points to the city in recent weeks, limiting access for worshippers ahead of prayers.
