Israeli forces stormed Joseph's Tomb in eastern Nablus and conducted raids on several nearby villages, searching homes and seizing property, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported. The operation targeted residential areas in the region.
Joseph's Tomb, a site sacred to both Israelis and Palestinians, sits in the northern West Bank. Israeli military incursions into Palestinian-controlled territory occur regularly amid ongoing tensions.
