Israeli settlers and forces assaulted Palestinians across the occupied West Bank as the olive harvest began, Al Jazeera English reported. Attacks included beatings, property destruction, and crop theft during the season when Palestinian farmers typically gather olives from their groves.
The incidents occurred amid longstanding tensions over Palestinian access to agricultural land in the territory. Olive harvesting remains a significant economic and cultural practice for Palestinian communities, though farmers regularly face obstacles during the season.
