Israeli settlers have intensified their presence in Hebron's Old City, according to Al Jazeera English, threatening the Palestinian residents who have inhabited the area for generations. The expansion has created mounting pressure on the Palestinian community already living under restricted conditions in the city.
Palestinian residents face displacement as settlers, including those occupying rooftops strategically positioned throughout the Old City, consolidate control over key areas. The settlers' actions are altering the demographic and cultural character of one of Palestine's most historic urban centers.
