Israeli settlers have seized eight Palestinian properties in Jericho, displacing dozens of residents from their homes, Al Jazeera English reported. The takeover occurred in the West Bank city, a key Palestinian population center.
The forced displacement marks another instance of settler expansion in occupied Palestinian territory. Jericho has faced repeated encroachment by Israeli settlers despite its status under Palestinian Authority control.
