Palestinians in Israel held a memorial event Saturday to mark the anniversary of thirteen Palestinians shot dead by Israeli police during the Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2000, the Shehab Wire reported. The commemoration included a march departing from the city of Sakhnin.
The killings occurred during the uprising that erupted in October 2000, when clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces resulted in widespread casualties across Palestinian areas in Israel.
