Settlers entered Bab al-Rahma cemetery, which borders the eastern wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Friday morning, according to Shehab Wire. The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the settlers performed Talmudic rituals early in the day for what they call a religious occasion.
The cemetery, located next to the mosque's eastern wall, is regularly the site of friction between Israeli settlers and Palestinian residents over access and religious observances.
