Israeli settlers attacked an AFP photographer and fired guns toward him and a colleague on Tuesday while they documented settler violence against West Bank olive farmers, Al-Monitor reported. The photographer was beaten during the incident, which occurred as the journalists covered ongoing clashes in the territory.
Journalists covering settler activity in the occupied West Bank face regular threats and violence. The attack on the press crew came as confrontations between colonists and Palestinian farmers have intensified in recent months.
