Ziad al-Nakhala, general secretary of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, said the Palestinian people remain steadfast against what he called U.S.-backed Zionist aggression, according to Shehab Wire. He stressed that Palestinian unity and political forces represent a core objective for the movement, which will pursue this goal.
Al-Nakhala framed the October 7 operation known as "Flood of Al-Aqsa" as a response to ongoing crimes, reaffirming the movement's commitment to Palestinian historical rights in the territory.
