Jerusalem District Electricity Company announced it will cut power on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Ma'an wire reported. The outage will affect parts of Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, though the full list of affected areas was not detailed in the announcement.
The utility said it was compelled to implement the planned outage, which the company described apologetically.
