Jerusalem's electricity company announced it will cut power across multiple areas of Bethlehem governorate on Thursday, August 13, 2026, the Ma'an news agency reported. The blackout will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Affected zones include parts of al-Khader and other neighborhoods in the region.
The company said the cuts were necessary but did not provide details on the reason for the scheduled outage. Residents in the affected areas will lose electricity service for five hours during the daytime period.
