Pallbearers and relatives gathered to bury the child of Ali al-Bazari, a Palestinian National Security officer killed by Israeli gunfire in Burqa, a village in Nablus district, the Ma'an news agency reported. Al-Bazari was shot dead by what Palestinians describe as occupying forces in the West Bank town.
The funeral drew mourners from the community as the family laid to rest the young boy, whose father's death marked another casualty in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the Nablus area.
