Human rights organizations have called for stronger action from Arab mediators and the UN Security Council, citing what they describe as ongoing occupation violations in Gaza, the Shehab Wire reported. They pointed to a strike on a residential apartment west of Gaza City that killed five people, including four women, two of them Christians, as evidence of continuing civilian casualties.
The groups stressed that the mounting death toll and injuries demand a more forceful international response, arguing that current diplomatic efforts have proven insufficient to address what they characterize as systematic breaches by Israeli forces in the territory.
