A citizen was injured Friday after settlers sprayed him with pepper gas in al-Zawiya town, west of Salfit, Shehab Wire reported. Local sources said the settlers attacked Palestinians who were harvesting olives on their agricultural land, using the chemical spray against them.
The incident marks the latest in a pattern of confrontations between Palestinian farmers and Israeli settlers during the olive harvest season in the occupied West Bank.
