Israeli soldiers arrested Al Jazeera correspondent Montaser Nassar during a raid on his home in Hebron, blindfolding and handcuffing him in the process, the outlet reported. The raid occurred as part of operations in the Palestinian city, though no further details on the arrest's stated justification were immediately available.
Nassar's detention marks another instance of Israeli military action against international press operating in the occupied West Bank. Al Jazeera has not yet disclosed the charges or grounds cited for his arrest.
